A True Artists Sculpts A Nose To Fit The Patient's Personality and Face

Dr Richard Arabitg - Tuesday, January 19, 2016

Has there ever been a time when you considered giving your appearance a little boost, but were afraid that you wouldn’t feel or look like yourself anymore? At Plastic Surgery Central Florida, Dr. Arabitg understands that it can be scary at first to make changes to your appearance; that’s why we strive to help you achieve a look that fits perfectly for you. When it comes to your nose, you might have some concerns about whether or not rhinoplastly will blend naturally with everything you already love about yourself, however, a true artist sculpts a nose to fit a patient’s personality and face.

Rhinoplasty, also known as a nose job, is performed by Orlando plastic surgeon Dr. Arabitg to improve facial harmony, create balance, and help you achieve the appearance of your dreams. With attention to detail, unparalleled artistry, and decades of knowledge and skill, Dr. Arabitg provides patients all across central Florida and Orlando with rhinoplasty that exceeds expectations every time. If you think your nose is too wide, too big, or too bumpy, the balance of your facial features can seem skewed. As the center of your face, the wrong nose can make every other feature appear disproportionate, and make you feel insecure about the way you look. By sculpting a nose that is proportionate and straight, Dr. Arabitg can restore your facial balance and your self-esteem.

How Can My Surgeon Fit My Nose To My Personality and Face?

A nose job performed by Dr. Arabitg will not change the appearance of your face completely, but it will enhance the natural beauty of your face, so that you are still you. Dr. Arabitg takes many variables into consideration, from your ethnicity to your lifestyle, as well as the ideas you have about what you’d like out of the procedure. His goal is to get you natural looking results, fitting the nose perfectly to positively enhance the way you look and feel. With a nose job, you can feel confident and look incredible. By scheduling a consultation at Plastic Surgery Central Florida today, you can raise any concerns you may have, ask questions, see manipulated 3D images to “try on” a wide variety of results, and figure out exactly what you want. Dr. Arabitg can even recommend other procedures that can compliment a nose job, to provide even more facial balance and harmony.

Benefits Of Rhinoplasty:

Enhance beauty and attractiveness to others

Achieve balance to the facial structure

Customize the appearance of the nose to your liking – width, profile, nose tip, size

Improve nose functionality – many patients can breathe easier

Enhance confidence and therefore overall quality of life

Incisions can be made inside the nose for no visible scarring

Can be combined with other cosmetic procedures, such as a face lift

Along with the positive effects a nose job will have on your appearance, rhinoplasty will also restore normal functioning to a nose that has undergone trauma related to injury or medical conditions, and even problems with breathing. Rhinoplasty can help in cases of deviated septums, skin cancer, congenital birth defects, restoration of cartilage, skin, and bones, and more. With incisions made inside the nose, signs of rhinoplasty are visibly undetectable when it comes to scarring.

Candidates For Rhinoplasty:

Schedule a consultation with Dr. Arabitg to find out whether you’re a good candidate for rhinoplasty. Ideally, patients who are good candidates for a nose job have a nose that they feel is disproportionate in size to the rest of their face, has a large bump or appears crooked, has wide, flared nostrils, has a tip that is too thick or turned down, is too wide, or is asymmetrical or off-center due to injury. Good candidates are at least eighteen years of age or older, are in good physical condition and good health, do not smoke, and have realistic expectation about the results of the procedure. Dr. Arabitg requires a full check of medical background and health history before performing procedures, and will never pressure patients to undergo more procedures than necessary or desired.

Dr. Arabitg and the Plastic Surgery Central Florida team make your goals a priority, working with you in creative collaboration to customize the size, shape, and width of your nose to your desired results. We emphasize the health and safety of our patients above all else, conducting full, comprehensive medical history checks to ensure that surgery will be appropriate and successful. Schedule a consultation with us today to decide if a nose job is the right choice for you.

There Are No Known Long-Term Side Effects of BOTOX

Dr Richard Arabitg - Monday, November 30, 2015

Although there are currently no known long-term side effects of BOTOX®, some temporary effects may occur. The temporary side effects can last a few days and may include headaches, blood clots resulting from broken blood vessels (also known as hematoma), a turning out of an area, such as an eyelid (known as ectropion), a “double vision” known as diplopia that results from unequal action of eye muscles, bruising and temporary ptosis of the eyelids. These side effects may not occur in everyone, and tend to only provide mild discomfort.

Fear of botulism tends to be unfounded, as botulism is not associated with FDA approved BOTOX®. However, it can result from use of forms of the injection that are not FDA approved or regulated. In its FDA approved form, BOTOX® is extremely safe and controlled. It may be used over and over without permanent side effects or development of illness.

If you’re searching for a fast, easy and affordable solution to the physical signs of aging, BOTOX® is for you. With minimal to no side effects, depending on the person, and maximum effects appearing within a week, BOTOX® is a great way to create volume in the face without any invasive surgeries. Stop wasting your money on drugstore creams and serums that just don’t do the trick. Talk to your surgeon today to see if BOTOX® is right for you.

How to Care for Your Breasts After Breast Augmentation

Dr Richard Arabitg - Wednesday, November 18, 2015

After Orlando breast augmentation surgery, it is important to follow your surgeon’s aftercare suggestions to the letter. Any variation in post-surgical care could result in infection, distortion, or prolonged healing. After the implants have healed, there are some steps you can take to make sure they stay in optimal condition for years.

Breast implants are going to be much heavier than the original breast tissue that was present before the augmentation, so it is important to properly support them. If not attended to, this weight can cause distortion in shape and perkiness. A supportive bra is important for carrying that weight, resulting in little or no sagging. A good bra is not only important in daily life, but also while engaging in physical activities. Exercising and playing sports are high-contact, rigorous physical activities that can result in stress on breast tissue. Always wear a high quality sports bra during exercise to keep the breast tissue in peak condition and to prevent injuries.

Healed breast implants may also benefit from daily massages. The more you massage your implants, the longer they may last. Daily massages will allow them to move in a more realistic and natural manner, without stiffness or hardness. Breast implants may also require more constant monitoring and check-ups than natural breasts. It is important to visit your surgeon after surgery to ensure that there is no occurrence of capsular contracture, and no leakage of implant material. If either of these occur, you may not even realize they are happening. Regular visits to your surgeon can keep you ahead of any changes that may occur while you have breast implants. Although breast implants can be great across many different lifestyles, it’s important to know how to care for them. Talk to your surgeon about the changes you will have to make in life while they are healing, and the minor adjustments you may have to make after they are healed.

What is BOTOX Made Of and Are There Possible Side Effects?

Dr Richard Arabitg - Tuesday, October 13, 2015

BOTOX®, when used to eliminate fine lines or wrinkles, and even prevent migraines or excess sweating, is extremely effective. If you’re tired of looking tired, or wish you could eliminate embarrassing sweat stains or painful migraines, the effects are almost immediate. Injections can be safely readministered many times to keep up the appearance of youthfulness. It is FDA approved, and consists of Clostridium Botulinum, a natural bacteria found in soil. There are seven varieties of the bacteria, which are assigned a letter A through G in order to distinguish and identify them. Botulinum Toxin Type A is the form of Clostridium Botulinum used to create BOTOX®, which is made in a highly controlled laboratory.

Originally, BOTOX® was used in very small doses to treat eye spasms (blepharospasm) and misalignment of the eye (strabismus). It comes in a vial that must be stored in specific temperatures, and must be diluted with saline and used within four hours. BOTOX® offers relief for an indefinite period of time, without long-term effects. However, women who are pregnant or people who are taking certain medications should not receive BOTOX® treatments. The effects of BOTOX® can be magnified with the use of certain antibiotics, or other drugs that effect neuromuscular transmission.  Therefore, it is important to talk to your doctor before choosing to have injections. Any medications you take, and pre-existing medical conditions you may have, should be discussed with your surgeon. Your safety and health should be the number one priority of your cosmetic surgeon. If you have any questions about side effects or how BOTOX® will affect you, you should consider asking your surgeon when you discuss your medical history in your consultation.

Dr Richard Arabitg - Thursday, September 24, 2015

In Florida, bikini season occurs year-round. When diet and exercise don’t seem to be doing the trick, plastic surgery can be a great option to consider. The Perfect Size Breast Implant for my Body Type

Dr Richard Arabitg - Wednesday, September 16, 2015

Many factors go into choosing the size of your breast implant, such as appropriateness for your body. Your health and safety is a big consideration, as a breast size that is not safe for you can have complicated implications for your spine, posture, and more. You might want more natural results, or you may desire results that appear more dramatic. Your surgeon should be able to help you come up with the best path to your desired results by understanding your goals and working collaboratively with you. It’s important to understand that breast augmentation in Orlando isn’t just about breasts; it has implications for the entire body. Breast augmentations can change the balance of your figure, altering the way your body shape appears. The technical size of the implants in cc’s may not be indicative of how they will look, but a good plastic surgeon will be able to base potential appearance based on your current figure and body type. Shape and positioning, too, are important factors in the end result for the appearance of breast implants. Even the right size implant can look wrong if placed incorrectly or shaped in a way that is incompatible with the body. By making a detailed, comprehensive plan before the procedure, your surgeon can ensure that placement, shape, and size will come together in perfect harmony to create the appearance you want.

Pec Implants

Dr Richard Arabitg - Sunday, August 09, 2015

Pec implants bring the muscle forward, and when supplemented by a low body fat percentage, a more toned and defined appearance will result. When working together with a plastic surgeon, you can create a safe and appropriate size implant for your body and your desired results. They can be more rounded, more full, or even more flat in certain areas depending on your goals. It is important to discuss all of your options with your plastic surgeon, in order to choose the option that best fits your desired results. Choosing a plastic surgeon with experience in working with body builders is a great way to make sure your surgeon has the knowledge and expertise you want. If you don’t have any preexisting deformities due to trauma, asymmetry, or a congenital defect, you probably won’t need a totally customized implant. However, if required, a customized implant can be molded in order to sculpt a perfect implant. If you are healthy, do not smoke, and wish to increase the size and tone of your pecs, you may be a good candidate for pec implants. Your surgeon will most likely request that you eliminate the use of anabolic steroids like testosterone at least six weeks prior to the procedure, as well as other medications that can prevent the clotting of blood or other complications. The procedure is typically performed under general anesthesia, and should last no more than two hours.  To reduce swelling or implant shifts, an elastic compression vest may be worn.

Do You have an Unsightly Bump on the Surface of Your Nose? We Can Fix That!

Dr Richard Arabitg - Tuesday, July 28, 2015

For cosmetic rhinoplasty, your cosmetic surgeon will make sure that all of your aesthetic requests are appropriate and suitable for your needs, so that you can get the physical results that you want. Many people pursue rhinoplasty to eliminate an unsightly bump on the surface of the nose, reduce the length or height of the nose so that it is more proportionate to the rest of the face, reduce the tip of the nose so that it has a smoother and less hooked shape, or reduce the nose width and nostril size. Most nose jobs are performed from the inside of the nose, and are relatively easy procedures for a surgeon to perform, without excessive pain or healing time. If you are interested in improving the aesthetic quality of your nose, you may be a candidate for a cosmetic nose job. When performed in conjunction with other procedures, such as lip injections or a chin augmentation, the results of your rhinoplasty can be greatly enhanced. If you have a deformity or congenital defect of the nose, you may also be a candidate for a nose job in Orlando.
